What to Expect

Expect the Unexpected

I frequently get asked from new clients what they can expect during a reading or spiritual counseling session.

First and foremost, before every appointment I 'open' my sacred space with prayer.  I thank God for this amazing gift.  I thank God for allowing me to be an instrument of His peace. I surround myself, my location and my client in the light of the Holy Spirit allowing only those messages and connections for the highest and greatest good. I then meditate and request the presence of Angels, Ascended Masters, guides and loved ones.

I then clear my mind.....and wait.

The Angels always arrive first. One of the more challenging aspects in this journey is trusting the process - ego must be set aside. I am primarily clairvoyant but everything that I receive whether through clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience or claircognizance is for my client (further explanation of the 'clairs' is here). It is up to me to interpret it and convey it accurately and to allow any emotional healing that occurs to flow through me. Occasionally  the message or statement may not make sense at the time of the reading to my client.  I must 'leave' it with them as the information was given to me for them. It will make sense eventually...it always does. I also ask my clients to keep their awareness wide open. Sometimes one wants so desperately to connect with only a particular loved one that they won't acknowledge or pay attention to all the other friends and family who are coming through with validation after validation.  It can be like attending a large party where many are talking at the same time - some talk over each other or so close to the same time it can be confusing just who said what.

This gift carries tremendous responsibility and energy. I agreed to accept it and treat it and my clients with reverence and respect. The energy created doing this work, while invigorating, is also very physically draining. Time to recharge and regenerate are necessary and required. Part of my own spiritual growth was learning to set my personal boundaries and recognize this time is needed for my well being and health.

So, why do I do this? Because it was asked of me.
